Job Title: HGV Class 1 Day Driver
Location: St Leonards-on-Sea.
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: £34,866 per annum

The Role:
1. Various HGV driving duties, including daily checks to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use, complying with vehicle security and standing procedures at all times.
2. Manage the hand held terminals and be able to record accurate information.
3. Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and returned to the Transport Office.
4. Report any delivery issues in a timely manner to the Transport Office.
5. Provide a professional driving service, meeting and exceeding customer expectations
6. Ensure health and safety standards are adhered at all times
7. You may be required to drive Class 2 or 3.5t vehicles during peak periods.
8. Able to work weekends.
What we need from you:
9. Qualifications. Class 1 Driving Licence, Valid CPC, Digital Tacho Card. HGV/LGC Class licence.
10. Experience. Previous experience is essential. Multi drop experience would be beneficial. Will have completed a CPC Training Course and have a strong geographical and logistical knowledge.
11. Communication. You will have good communication skills, spoken and written.
12. Influence & Persuasion. Build good working relationships with work colleagues, customers and HUB staff.
13. Planning & Organisation. Build good working relationships with work colleagues and our customers.
