Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the strategic development of the Design & Technology curriculum across all key stages.
Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that challenge, support, and inspire students.
Maintain high expectations for teaching and learning, consistently delivering good to outstanding lessons.
Support and mentor staff within the department, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Contribute to extracurricular opportunities such as clubs, competitions, and projects to enhance learning beyond the classroom.
About You:
A well-qualified practitioner with a relevant degree and recognised teaching qualification. (QTS)
An enthusiastic, dynamic leader with the vision and energy to further develop a successful DT department.
A reflective practitioner committed to ongoing professional development and excellence in teaching.
A compelling communicator, capable of championing the subject and engaging learners across a full range of abilities.
