Key Responsibilities
* Managing a varied caseload of commercial property transactions from instruction through to completion
* Preparing detailed reports on title for clients and lenders, identifying risks and providing practical legal advice
* Handling due diligence matters including title investigations, planning matters, environmental issues and restrictive covenants
* Liaising with clients, lenders, agents and third parties to progress transactions efficiently and maintain strong client relationships
* Supporting colleagues and other departments with property‑related matters including probate and business support work where required
* Managing billing, time recording and financial targets in line with departmental objectives
* Ensuring compliance with legal regulations, internal procedures and professional standards
* Submitting Land Registry applications and resolving requisitions through to registration
* Contributing to continuous improvement by updating precedents, improving processes and embracing legal technology
* Maintaining up‑to‑date technical knowledge through ongoing training and professional development
