Career Legal is working with a City-based law firm to recruit a Facilities Assistant. This is a full-time, office-based role (Monday–Friday, 9:30am–5:30pm) within a small, supportive team.
Duties include:
* Coordinate planned maintenance works, ensuring documentation, access, and contractor compliance with agreed standards.
* Manage the helpdesk, logging faults and liaising with suppliers/building management to ensure timely resolution.
* Conduct weekly health & safety walkarounds, resolving minor issues and escalating where required.
* Maintain safe, clean, and organised basement and storage areas.
* Set up workstations for new joiners and deliver inductions, including access passes and H&S briefings.
* Produce monthly KPI reports and support space planning within a hot-desking environment.
* Provide general support to the wider facilities team as required.
