Job Summary
As a Senior Packaging Operator, you will perform tasks such as picking, packaging, and shipping contact lenses, ensuring customer requirements, production targets, and quality standards are met or exceeded. You will also provide leadership and guidance to the packaging team and serve as a backup for the Team Leader.
Responsibilities
* Operate packing machinery safely, following procedures and work instructions, and monitor performance.
* Pick materials and lenses for customer orders following procedures.
* Ship customer orders according to specifications, pack on pallets, and use pallet trucks.
* Record production data accurately in written and digital formats.
* Deputize for the Team Leader when required, supporting productivity and representing the team in meetings.

About You
We seek someone with warehouse experience, excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt as needed.
Experience & Education
* Experience in a warehouse environment and machinery operation.
* Career development plan in progress.
* Ability to read and work according to SOPs and work instructions.
* Willingness to cover at least two main processes within Packaging and work in other operational areas when needed.
* Understanding of Lean, continuous improvement, and Health & Safety.
* Ability to prioritize workloads.
* Familiarity with systems like OEE, Oracle, GPS, JDA.
* Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
