Where will you be working?

At M Group Water we help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

This role will join BGEN - one of the UK's largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the water, power & energy, pharmaceutical, nuclear and food and beverage industries to deliver next generation, value-added engineering solutions.

What will you be doing?

Join us in shaping a safer future. As our Health & Safety Advisor, you’ll lead with care - guiding audits, investigations, and compliance with a proactive, people-first approach.
You’ll collaborate across teams, share fresh ideas, and keep our H&S File up to date and accessible.
From inspiring training to wellbeing support, you’ll help every colleague feel confident and protected.
Most importantly, you’ll live and breathe BGEN’s 5 Golden Rules—promoting a culture where safety and teamwork go hand in hand.
What you'll bring:
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations, insurance legislation, and QA compliance
* Skilled in people management, communication, coaching, and performance development
* Confident IT user with the ability to learn and adapt quickly
* Effective communicator across all levels—clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams
* Skilled in negotiation and influence, fostering positive outcomes
* Committed to ongoing professional growth through CPD (e.g. IOSH or equivalent)
