Overview
Based at Idle Valley Nature Centre. Zero hours – must be available on weekends. Salary: National Minimum Wage. Closing date: 30 September 2025.
What you’ll do
* Work as a Casual Retail and Catering Assistant at Idle Valley Nature Centre Café.
* Provide warm, friendly and helpful customer service; assist on the till, washing up, restocking and giving directions to visitors as needed.
* Have a proactive, can-do attitude; think on your feet and put yourself in the customer’s shoes.
* Receive guidance and support from the manager and colleagues while being willing to muck in and help teammates.
Requirements
* Hardworking and self-motivated with the ability and confidence to work independently.
* Willingness to contribute to a positive visitor experience; a proactive approach to getting things done.
* Customer service/front-of-house/barista experience is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided.
