Youll lead shop floor operations, deliver production plans On Time in Full, embed Lean principles, and drive measurable results across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People metrics. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage shop floor operations, ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards are met Deliver production plans while improving efficiency, productivity, and cost control Build and develop a high-performing, engaged production team Champion Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives Optimise processes, reduce waste, and improve flow through structured problem-solving Own Health & Safety performance and maintain compliance with ISO9001, AS9100, ISO14001 standards Support customer audits and maintain operational discipline across the site What Were Looking For 5 years production management experience in manufacturing/assembly, ideally in aerospace, defence, medical, or scientific sectors Proven track record delivering improvements across safety, quality, delivery, and cost Strong technical or engineering background (HNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent) Hands-on, visible leader with strong communication and team coaching skills Experienced in Lean/CI, ERP/MRP systems, and production planning Proactive, results-driven, and able to inspire and motivate teams Whats on Offer Competitive salary up to £60k 23 days holiday (rising with service) 4% pension contribution & 3x salary life assurance Lead transformational initiatives in a supportive, innovative environment Opportunity to make a tangible impact on growth and operations By applying to this job advertisement, you confirm you have read and understood our Data Privacy Statement and give Bolt Technical authorisation to hold your provided data.
