We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join the Kinship Assessment Team within the Fostering service. This is a highly rewarding role, ideal for someone passionate about supporting children and adolescents in safe, stable, and nurturing family environments.
A key focus of this role is undertaking Kinship assessments within a 14-week timescale, ensuring that children are placed with families who are fully supported and equipped to meet their needs.
What You\'ll Be Doing
As a Social Worker in the Kinship Assessment Team, you will:
* Undertake timely Kinship assessments within the 14-week statutory period
* Support children and adolescents through assessments, placements, and care planning
* Work closely with kinship carers, foster families, and wider family networks
* Complete high-quality, evidence-based reports and case records
* Chair and contribute to meetings to safeguard children and adolescents
* Collaborate with colleagues, partner agencies, and professionals to achieve positive outcomes
