Job overview
This part-time role (18.5 hours/week) involves assisting in providing efficient Materials Management and Receipt and Distribution services, working closely with clinical teams to enhance patient care. Responsibilities include loading/unloading goods, inspecting deliveries, and reporting shortages or damages. Cross-site coverage may be required.
Main duties
* Handle enquiries from internal and external contacts, including suppliers and university partners.
* Provide documentation for finance and record receipts in the computer system.
* Undertake stock put-away, replenishment, and transport goods to departments.
* Maintain cleanliness in storage areas and support stock checks and recordings to ensure appropriate stock levels, working near patients and clinical activities.

Qualifications
* English and Mathematics GCSE Grade 4/C or equivalent
* NVQ 3 in Health Care Support or willingness to work towards it
* Experience with Microsoft Office, especially email and spreadsheets

* Knowledge of electronic materials management systems
* Experience with stock control software and supply chain evaluation
* Support for implementing new products and changes
* Motivated, innovative, receptive to change
* Excellent customer care, communication, and teamwork skills
