What you’ll be doing
* Working alongside experienced civil engineers developing skills in the design of rail civils and structures, rail track, geotechnics, and project & design management.
* Assisting the rail team in providing a comprehensive design and advisory service, focused on meeting the engineering challenges involved in servicing the infrastructure requirements of renewal and enhancement projects.
* Working across all types of railway systems with clients ranging from local developers through to international contractors working for public sector bodies.
What you’ll bring
* A relevant degree, such as Civil and/or Structural Engineering degree, or studying towards a relevant degree for the role you are applying for.
* A knowledge of AutoCAD and other industry software.
* Keen to share your ideas about how we can do things better.
* Great communication skills developed through well‑rounded life experience—academically, socially and in any previous work situations.
* Enthusiastic and ambitious attitude, keen to learn and progress.
* Problem solving and strong communication skills.
* Personal organisation skills, and the ability to work well within a team.
* Right to Work and live in the UK.
* Work experience in the Engineering industry, either through work experience or as part of an academic course, are ideally sought.
