Job Title: Cafe Assistant Location: Aberystwyth Pay Rate: £12.21 Contract: Temporary part time role. We are seeking a cafe assistant to join our team! The role is ideal for a student seeking employment throughout summer. Training is taking place on 28th 29th and 30th of April. Ideal candidate needs to be able to attend 3 day training. Duties: Welcoming tourists, building rapport, and creating a positive and memorable experience. Food and drink preparation Giving site tours Serving customer General cleaning duties Ideal candidate will have: Customer Service Must be 18 or over Reliable transportation is essential due to the site's remote location. Communication skills: Effectively communicating with customers and colleagues. Food and Beverage Preparation: Understanding and adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. Cash Handling Problem Solving: Addressing issues and finding solutions in a timely manner. Available shift patterns: Hours of work will be between 9am – 5.30pm Monday – Sunday. Shifts will be assigned based on availability week in advance. Successful candidates will be a pro-active team worker, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff. Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business.
