With the future firmly in sight, we are looking for a passionate Clinical Specialist based in the UK to develop and support our homecare business, with a particular focus on ventilation and the forthcoming launch of a new cough assist device.
Role Overview:
As a Clinical Specialist, you will be an essential part of our team, responsible for supporting both our internal and external colleagues in the successful use of our medical devices. You will leverage your clinical expertise to provide training, education, and ongoing support to healthcare professionals, ensuring optimal product usage and contributing to better patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Clinical Education & Support: Provide expert training and guidance on the use of ventilation products to healthcare professionals, ensuring proper application and patient safety.
* Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities.
* Product Knowledge: Stay current with competitor products and clinical practices to ensure you provide up-to-date and relevant information to customers.
* Troubleshooting: Offer on-site technical support and troubleshooting as needed to resolve product issues quickly and effectively and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Education: Provide education, support, and expert guidance to ensure customers are able to maximise the potential of the products they purchase, safely and effectively.
* Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, implementing effective strategies to gain new business.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical device clinical support, with a proven track record of success in establishing new products in the market.
* Market knowledge and experience in home ventilation required (and sleep preferable), backed up with a sound clinical knowledge base.
* High level of professionalism and integrity.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills (written and verbal) with demonstrated ability to effectively present to both internal and external customers.
* Flexible, self-motivated and results-oriented with strong interpersonal and the ability to think strategically as well as execute tactically.
* Can assess the needs of medical professionals and staff members, with a focus on consultative sales and problem-solving.
* Able to assess and prioritise opportunities as required.
* Able to work independently with an internal drive and happy to work in a small agile organisation.
* Passionate about healthcare and improving patient outcomes.
* Background in Nursing, Physiology, or a related field.
