We'd like you to join us as a Deputy Manager at our service Liberty Court, Purley

At Liberty Court, we provide our people with the support they need in their homes, helping to promote independence and maintain a high standard of both physical and mental wellbeing. What you'll be working:

* 40 hours per week
* Alternate weekend working
* May require late night checks or out of hours for wake night visits to service.

What you'll be doing:

* Support and adhere to the home's medication policies and procedures and maintain the necessary records to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the systems.
* Administering medicines inclusive of audits.
* To complete the medication process.
* To enhance communication and transparency of roles between the team and the RHM.
* To oversee the residents individual weekly programmes
* To oversee all aspects of the required documentation for all residents including care plans, risk assessments and audits and ensuring all are kept up to date.
* To ensure up to date knowledge of legislation, guidance and requirements, i.e. SOVA,MCA, DOLS, CQC.
* Organise Review Schedule liaising with admin for timelines.
* To be involved with and oversee the initial formulation of residents reviews and attend reviews as required.
* To be involved in external activities and meetings i.e. forum events and social networking groups for residents.
* Carrying out Supervisions and appraisals.
* Being part of investigations and disciplinaries.
* Leading on training and compliance.
* Ensuring staff skill mix on each team and checking of rota.
* To support the RHM by taking responsibility for data input and rostering.
* Be involved in recruitment/interviewing.

What you'll have:

* Strong organisational, time management, planning and communication skills.
* Proven track record of experience in the acquired brain injury field with considerable leadership experience of managing teams.
* Must be willing to commence a level 4 diploma or hold an equivalent qualification.
* Be a forward thinking individual who is confident in their approach to internal and external parties.
* Have good time management and organisational skills.
* Must have computer skills in Excel, word, outlook and internet explorer.
* Ability to deal with problem solve in a demanding environment.
* Able to use own initiative and creativity to enhance the productivity of the home.
