Sewell Wallis is recruiting on behalf of the public sector for a Head of Finance role, based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. This role will be a key leadership role in providing strategic development of the financial arrangements of the organisation from multiple revenue streams and funding, whilst developing the finance team.\n\nWhat will you be doing?\n\nAs the Head of Finance:\n\nYou will prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, forecasts and annual budgets to senior management, board and government departments.\nOversee annual accounts, external audit, procurement and commercial policy compliance\nAct as the main contact and maintain relationships with auditors, bankers and the Department of Education\nLead the production of the annual report and accounts for the organisation\nLead and inspire the finance team to drive engagement and continuous improvementWhat skills are we looking for?\n\nFully qualified accountant (ACA, CIPFA, ACCA or CIMA) with senior-level experience\nProven leadership capability with experience developing high-performing teams\nStrong strategic thinker with the ability to deliver operational excellence\nSkilled in budgeting, costing models and financial analysis\nExcellent communicator with strong collaboration skills and commitment to inclusionWhat's on offer?\n\nHybrid working- 2 days pe...
