Project Manager Complex Multi-Storey Construction Location: Cheltenham (Predominantly Site-Based) Salary: £60,000 £75,000 per annum (DOE) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Sector: Construction / Design & Build / Fit Out Poolhall Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to deliver a complex multi-storey construction project in Cheltenham. Although the wider business is based just outside of London, this role is project-specific, requiring a site presence 34 days per week. Office attendance requirements are to be confirmed, but this position is primarily site-led, therefore candidates should be located within a reasonable commuting distance to Cheltenham & surrounding arears. The Role This is a senior Project Management position responsible for taking a technically complex, multi-storey project from design stage through to construction and completion. Candidates with experience in either multi-storey car park projects OR industrial fit-out projects will be strongly considered. Experience managing complex, multi-level structures is essential. Key Responsibilities Lead the project team from design development through to project completion Oversee the technical design process and ensure timely release for construction Full responsibility for the construction contract, programme, and budget Coordinate pre-construction, procurement, and site activities Programme management, tracking, and reporting Monitor site activities, quality, and health & safety compliance Act as the main point of contact for the client and key stakeholders Award and manage subcontract packages Ensure quality control procedures are followed throughout delivery Manage contract variations, change control, and cost reporting Essential Experience & Skills Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction Strong experience delivering complex, multi-storey buildings Solid understanding of construction sequencing and site operations Experience managing design, subcontractors, and site teams Strong commercial awareness including budgets and cost control Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills Comfortable in a hands-on, site-based Project Manager role Desirable Experience (Either / Or) Multi-storey car park Project Management experience OR Industrial fit-out Project Management experience (Candidates with either background will be considered.)
