Join our dynamic Creative Industries team and shape the future of interior design and architecture by delivering our exciting new Level 3 qualification. This is your chance to nurture creative talent, equipping students with the practical and conceptual skills demanded by a thriving, fast-evolving industry.
You’ll deliver engaging and industry-relevant teaching in areas such as spatial design, digital and hand-drawn technical drawing, design theory, 3D modelling, sustainability in design, and the use of design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
We work closely with local design firms, architectural practices, and property development companies to ensure our learners gain valuable insight and opportunities that lead to meaningful progression routes into employment or further study.
About the Organisation:
The College operates across three main campuses in Stevenage and Hitchin, employing over 650 staff. With a turnover of £30m, the college provides learning opportunities to over 10,000 students each year from study programmes for 16-18 year olds and apprenticeships through to adult provision locally, regionally and nationally. We were judged Good by Ofsted at our last inspection in December 2023, with outstanding features.
The Creative Industries department has a strong and rich reputation, nationally placed within the top 6% of FE centres to study Arts & Media. Currently we are in an exciting period of change through positive investment and subsequent growth, we are now expanding our outstanding team to position ourselves as national leaders within Creative Industry studies.
