Join to apply for the Sales Manager role at Airbus Helicopters at Oxford Airport, the UK’s civil helicopter hub, as our Sales Manager! The role is a permanent, field-based position based in Oxford with travel across the UK and Ireland. You will own the full sales lifecycle and work to exceed quotas by selling the entire portfolio—from aircraft and spares to service contracts—across the Private, Parapublic, and Military sectors in the UK and Ireland.

Main Responsibilities
* Business Development and Sales: Achieve and exceed annual and quarterly sales targets and KPIs for the Private, Parapublic, and Military markets in the UK and Ireland. Identify, pursue and close new business opportunities, including fleet modernisation, customisation, new aircraft sales, and other AHUK offerings. Develop business across relevant AHUK sectors as defined by the Head of Sales and Commercial. Achieve minimum assigned aircraft volumes/types while protecting margin. Collaborate with the Commercial team for market analysis and to identify gaps and opportunities. Initiate, nurture and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to drive retention and growth. Represent customer needs within the AHUK Sales team and ensure leadership is kept informed of customer concerns.
* Pipeline Management: Develop and manage a robust pipeline, ensuring opportunities move from prospecting to closing, with regular forecasts and reporting. Engage AHUK stakeholders at the appropriate times to meet customer needs and resource availability. Conduct regular meetings with leads and customers to progress deals.
* Leadership and Development: Support sales leadership and others with coaching, adhere to a rigorous sales process, and conduct weekly pipeline reviews. Participate in sales and marketing training to enhance capabilities and product knowledge.
* Commercial Operations Liaison: Align commercial proposals with customer expectations and profitability goals. Ensure a high-quality customer experience from sale through after-sales support; ensure Export, Compliance and taxation information is shared with relevant colleagues to protect AHUK from reputational and financial risk.
* CRM and Reporting: Record and maintain all sales activities and data in SalesForce, use CRM to improve efficiency and deal velocity, generate accurate forecasts and reports for stakeholders.
Knowledge, Experience And Skills
Essential
* Proven sales, business development and customer service experience within aerospace, defence, or aviation; track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and margin targets.
* Experience managing and growing a sales pipeline with forecasting in Salesforce or similar CRM; strong leadership and interpersonal skills; excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; fluent English; other languages (e.g., French or German) are an advantage.
Desirable
* Knowledge of Private & Business Aviation, Parapublic or Military segments; working knowledge of Airbus Helicopters and products; experience with customer support management; strategic, proactive, results-oriented thinking.
Education, Qualifications Or Training
Essential
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Aviation Operations or related field, or equivalent experience. IT literacy with Salesforce, SAP Concur, Google Apps, Microsoft Office, and related CRM tools.
Desirable
* Open to training with any new IT tools necessary for this function.

Additional Requirements
* DBS/SC security clearance eligibility; compliance with Export regulations. This is a field-based role with an office at Oxford Airport, UK, and frequent travel across the UK and Ireland, with European travel as required.
