Role Overview
I am looking for an Occupational Health Advisor who will provide clear, visible and professional advice to our clients' employees, providing the full Occupational Health remit, including consultation, advice, education, medical assessments, and D&A testing where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct case management appointments, assessing employees' fitness for work, and issuing fitness certificates.
* Write to GPs and specialists.
* Respond to client and manager queries, maintain accurate records, and provide health surveillance.
* Manage site medical incidents.
* Support the Occupational Health Nursing team through training and development.
* Contribute to a proactive Occupational Health Service.
* Maintain NMC registration.
* Design health promotion initiatives.
* Foster effective communication with managers.
* Manage equipment maintenance.
* Travel between clients' sites.
Qualifications
I am looking for a Registered Nurse with a postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health – Degree/Diploma. You will have experience in delivering case management and the provision of OH advice.
Hours & Location
The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day). You will be expected to work during the core hours between 8.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday. This role is based at a site in Acton and the surrounding sites in the area.
