Due to the career progression of the current post holder, we are looking for a talented Service Manager to help lead our Strategic Safeguarding, DoLS, and Transitions services.
What you’ll be doing
As Service Manager for this challenging but rewarding portfolio, you will use creativity and evidence-based thinking to ensure the smooth running of the Safeguarding and DoLS teams, supporting them to meet statutory duties safely and efficiently.
You will drive personalisation, ensuring services are person-centred and citizen feedback shapes delivery. As a lead for Safeguarding and DoLS, you will chair forums and promote safe practice through quality assurance activities. In the transitions space, you will work to improve the service and collaborate with key partnerships to achieve this.
What we are looking for
Working with the Head of Service, you will implement improvement plans across your areas and ensure the delivery of processes within the services.
You will mentor and coach Team Managers to achieve team goals and objectives.
You should be an experienced leader in performance management, with expertise in Safeguarding, DoLS, and Transitions legal frameworks and policies.
This role requires an operational leader capable of leading strategically.
