* Day: 07:15 – 19:45
* Night: 19:15 – 07:45

About the Support Worker RoleAs a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and overall well-being. You will work closely with residents, colleagues, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with individual care plans. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a caring and compassionate approach, have strong communication skills, and be able to work confidently both independently and as part of a wider multidisciplinary team. You will be flexible, reliable, and committed to creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for those in your care. Candidate Responsibilities
* Support individuals with their daily routines
* Promote independence and empower service users
* Provide emotional support and companionship
* Assist with personal care activities
* Maintain accurate records and documentation
* Follow care plans, safeguarding, and health & safety guidelines
* Work flexibly across long day and night shifts as required
Key Skills & Requirements
* Minimum 6-12 months UK experience in a Support Worker role
* Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach
* Ability to follow instructions and individual care plans
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Flexibility to work a range of shifts
* Based in, or willing to work in, Workington, Cumbria
