We are looking for a Reception Assistant Manager to maintain Cash handling, balancing, reconciliations and reservations. To ensure the comfort and satisfaction of all guests and customers.
About The Role
Job Title: Reception Assistant Manager
Department: Front Office / Reception
Reports To: Front Office Manager / General Manager / Directors
Job Summary:
The Hotel Reception Assistant Manager supports the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring exceptional guest service and efficient check-in/check-out processes. This role supervises reception staff, handles guest concerns, and assists in maintaining high hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the hotel reception
* Supervise, train, and support front desk staff
* Ensure smooth and efficient guest check-in and check-out procedures
* Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally
* Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality
* Support scheduling and staff rota management
* Monitor reservations, room availability, and occupancy levels
* Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations
* Assist with cash handling, billing, and financial reporting
* Step in to manage the front desk in the absence of the Reception/Front Office Manager
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Previous experience in hospitality or front office roles
* Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Good organisational and multitasking skills
* Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
