The role ofAssistant Regional Operations Managerwill include:
1. Supporting the senior management team with process improvements through the creation of an innovative environment for operational staff
2. Monitoring progress of customer repairs and complaints to ensure optimum performance
3. Managing the recruitment, performance and development of quality employees
4. Monitoring, managing and completing all customer works, through self-delivery teams, suppliers and subcontractors
5. Supporting in the management of health and safety aspects of operations, ensuring business responsibilities are delivered in a safe manner
6. Supporting senior management with regional issues and escalation process, ensuring effective and timely resolution is achieved
7. Working closely with the Housing and Property Services teams to ensure continual improvement of business processes and procedures
Skills and experiences:
8. To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to Degree, HND or HNC in Construction or Management level and hold NEBOSH National Diploma - Construction or currently undertaking the qualification. If you have a lower level qualification along with practical experience and would be prepared to undertake this qualification with the support of Sanctuary Group, we would still welcome an application. As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted
9. Experience of managing multi-site maintenance contracts in a commercially focused role
10. Proven ability to effectively recruit, manage and develop people
11. Proven track record managing a direct labour operation or internal maintenance service
12. Experience of delivering services within budget is desirable
13. This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving license

24. £45,574 per annum (rising to £47,973 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
