You must be aged 18 or over to be a Customer Team Leader at Co-op, as you'll need to authorise age-related sales. We're looking for Customer Team Leaders to join our team at Co-op. As a Customer Team Leader, you'll be part of a friendly team dedicated to helping our customers. You'll lead the store team by coaching and supervising Customer Team Members, deputising for the Store Manager, and delivering excellent customer service. Your responsibilities also include restocking shelves and maintaining store cleanliness. We do things differently at Co-op. What you'll do
1. Provide friendly, welcoming, and helpful service, managing the store and handling challenging situations.
2. Develop your team's capabilities through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture where everyone's voice is valued.
3. Ensure the store remains safe, legal, and operational.
4. Manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to enhance the shopping experience.
5. Support your store manager by deputising and managing HR processes.
6. Lead the introduction of new products and services, working with your team to implement change and gather feedback.
7. Build relationships and engage with the local community, supporting the delivery of the community plan.
