A leading events business is seeking a Commercial Executive to support the continued success of a flagship exhibition. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities, selling exhibition space and sponsorships, and nurturing client partnerships to maximise event success.
What you’ll be doing:
* Driving new business through proactive outreach and tailored client conversations
* Selling exhibition stand space and sponsorship opportunities to meet and exceed targets
* Building and managing a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent growth
* Creating compelling proposals that highlight value and return on investment
* Managing relationships with existing clients throughout the event cycle to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
* Responding promptly to client requests and enquiries, maintaining a high level of service
* Accurately updating and maintaining all client and sales information within the CRM system
* Collaborating on marketing initiatives to promote the exhibition offer and engage new audiences
* Attending client meetings to understand business goals and propose effective solutions
What you’ll bring:
* Experience in sales, ideally within events, exhibitions, or media
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* A proactive mindset with the ability to identify and develop new opportunities
* Excellent organisation and attention to detail
* Confidence in working both independently and collaboratively
* Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
