Job Description Are you ready to lead strategic clinical infrastructure projects that shape the future of cancer care? Join GenesisCare UK as a Project Manager and play a key role in delivering transformative capital projects across our growing network of specialist cancer centres. This role focuses on the construction and delivery of complex healthcare infrastructure projects, including new clinical facilities, major refurbishments, and installation of advanced medical technologies. You’ll oversee the full project lifecycle from feasibility and design through to construction, commissioning, and operational handover, ensuring every stage aligns with recognised best practice such as the RIBA Plan of Work. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, specialist contractors, and equipment suppliers, you’ll ensure each project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and compliance. What You’ll Do Deliver new clinical centres, refurbishments, and equipment upgrades (e.g. LINACs, CTs) to a high standard. Lead early-stage feasibility, planning, and risk management to set projects up for success. Oversee design development, construction, and commissioning through structured stage gates. Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and professional teams to ensure high-quality outcomes. Manage complex stakeholder relationships across clinical, operational, and technical functions. Maintain project budgets, schedules, and risk registers, managing changes proactively. Ensure all works comply with CDM 2015, HSE, and healthcare regulatory standards (including IR(ME)R where applicable). Provide clear and structured reporting to senior stakeholders to support governance and decision-making. Lead commissioning, go-live, and operational handovers. What You’ll Have Experience and Skills Proven experience delivering clinical or similarly regulated infrastructure projects. Strong track record managing refurbishments, new builds, and major equipment installations. Experience across all key stages of project delivery, ideally aligned with the RIBA framework. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Strong problem-solving ability and confidence managing complexity and ambiguity. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, Smartsheet). Comfortable leveraging AI tools to enhance reporting and decision-making. Qualifications and Knowledge Recognised project management qualification (e.g. APM, PMP, CIOB). Degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience. Knowledge of construction and healthcare compliance (e.g. CDM 2015, IR(ME)R, HSE). Understanding of clinical settings and infrastructure interdependencies. Other Requirements National travel to project sites as required.
