Community Hub Coordinator – St Luke's Hospital, Market Harborough / Springfield Road Health Centre, Leicester
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Community Hub Coordinator to support our teams and service users within Community Health Services for Nursing and Therapy. The position is based primarily at St Luke's Hospital in Market Harborough with weekends and occasional shifts from Springfield Road Health Centre in Leicester. Applicants must hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle; free parking is available.
Service operates 08.00 to 18.00, Monday to Sunday. The post requires full flexibility and ability to cover all shifts, including weekends and bank holidays (these shifts attract enhancements).
Key Responsibilities
* Support Community Nursing and Therapy teams, Team Leads and clinicians.
* General administrative tasks, including processing referrals, managing tasks, supporting data collection for audits, and ensuring accurate data entry in the electronic patient record system (SystmOne).
* Ordering and monitoring equipment and supplies.
* Managing varied and changing administrative demands.
* Communicating effectively across community settings.
* Working independently and using initiative to adapt to changing demands.
Required Skills and Experience
* Attention to detail
* Ability to multitask and work under pressure
* Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
* Strong verbal communication skills
* GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration (or equivalent)
* Experience in the NHS or a similar complex organisation
* Background in a customer service environment
* Administrative/clerical experience
* IT literate: SystmOne, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email and internet
