Role & Responsibilities
1. Carry out domestic EPC assessments across residential housing portfolios throughout Manchester and surrounding locations
2. Complete residential stock condition surveys recording accurate building condition and lifecycle information
3. Inspect residential properties and identify defects relating to building fabric and maintenance requirements
4. Prepare clear survey reports and maintain accurate data entry across survey management systems
5. Manage personal workloads efficiently while maintaining agreed programme deadlines across residential projects
6. Coordinate with operational teams supporting ongoing residential asset management and inspection programmes
7. Maintain professional communication with residents, housing providers and programme delivery coordinators throughout inspections
8. Support large scale residential survey programmes delivering EPC and stock condition information accurately
Skills & Experience Required
9. Elmhurst accredited Domestic Energy Assessor with previous residential EPC assessment experience
10. Previous experience completing residential stock condition surveys across housing or asset management programmes
11. Strong understanding of residential building fabric, maintenance issues and property inspection procedures
12. Ability to record accurate survey information and prepare clear professional property reports independently
13. Strong organisational and time management skills when managing multiple residential survey appointments
14. Confident communication skills when working with residents, clients and operational delivery teams regularly
15. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle supporting regional residential survey coverage
16. Experience working independently across residential inspection programmes within the Surveying & Project Management sector
