A leading digital publisher is building a new in-house content studio spanning YouTube, podcasts, and long-form video and is hiring a senior Executive Producer to lead and scale the division.

The Opportunity
As Executive Producer, you will take full ownership of the publisher’s YouTube and podcast output, from creative strategy and format development to production, talent acquisition, and audience growth. You will set the tone, elevate quality, and build a content engine that becomes a flagship part of the organisation.
You will work closely with senior leadership, commercial teams, and external partners to craft formats, attract high-profile guests, and grow influence across the UK digital media landscape.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the editorial, creative, and production direction for all YouTube and podcast formats
* Oversee the development, scripting, filming, editing, and publishing of video and audio content
* Build and manage a high-performing creative and production team
* Develop new show formats, series, and long-form features that resonate with professional audiences
* Grow YouTube channels through strong understanding of SEO, thumbnails, retention, metadata, and platform trends
* Expand the podcast division with refined storytelling, guest booking, and format innovation
* Collaborate with commercial teams on sponsorships and integrated video and audio partnerships
* Manage budgets, external production partners, and long-term resource planning
* Represent the studio externally and act as a senior ambassador for the content brand
Profile We’re Looking For
* Executive Producer or Head of Content with a proven track record in YouTube or podcast growth
* Strong editorial judgement and deep understanding of high-quality storytelling
* Experience building formats and franchises that attract and retain professional audiences
* Skilled in leading creative teams and managing multi-disciplinary production environments
* Comfortable interviewing or working alongside senior business, political, or cultural figures
* Commercially aware, understanding how to turn content into revenue
* Thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving digital environment with high creative ownership
