This position is on a self employed basis and a valid UTR number is essential before starting Job Summary We are seeking skilled Kit Erectors to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating components to create kits that meet our high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with various welding techniques, as well as proficiency in using hand and power tools. Duties Assemble and fabricate kits according to specifications and drawings Perform TIG and Stick welding on various materials Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly tasks Conduct quality checks to ensure all components meet required standards Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols Use basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during assembly Experience Proven experience in welding, particularly TIG and Stick welding Familiarity with fabrication processes and sheet metal work Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is advantageous If you are a motivated individual with a passion for fabrication and assembly, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as a Kit Erector.
