The Role

Warwick SHS is seeking a dedicated and passionate leader to lead the Health & Physical Education Learning Area. Working closely with the Principal and leadership team, the successful applicant should play a key role in shaping the school’s vision, fostering a positive school culture, and driving excellence in Health & Physical Education.

The successful applicant should play a pivotal role in supporting staff development both individually and collectively, while ensuring accountability for day-to-day responsibilities and progress towards departmental and school priorities. A strong emphasis will be placed on leading a culture of high performance and continuous improvement, demonstrating a clear commitment to the school’s Instructional model and the effective use of performance management processes.

Warwick SHS offers approved specialist programs in Australian Rules Football and Netball, and the successful applicant should play a crucial role in promoting, developing, and managing these flagship programs. The Health & Physical Education department delivers a comprehensive range of programs from Year 7 to Year 12, including Australian Curriculum, WACE, and VET courses.
