Role: Experienced Children\'s Social Worker – Family Safeguarding Team, Fylde & Wyre. Location: Fylde & Wyre (Office based in Fleetwood). Salary: Grade 8/9, up to £46,142 (dependent on experience). Type: Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week.

Working in the Family Saf safeguarding Team
Family Safeguarding is a way of working to help keep families together and achieve better outcomes for children and their parents by engaging them in a more collaborative way. Our Family Safeguarding teams are multi-disciplinary with adult specialists and will hold our core Child in Need and Child Protection work taking a Motivational Interviewing approach.
Responsibilities
* Deliver intervention to children and their families as part of a multi-agency team.
* Collaborate with domestic abuse officers, domestic abuse practitioners, child and family practitioners and mental health practitioners.
* Engage with multi-agency partners to support assessments, safeguarding planning and statutory work as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Registered (Social Work England) to be appointed as a Social Worker.
* Experience as a social worker in family safeguarding settings preferred.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a team-based approach.
* Full driving licence and access to a car for business use (as per original).
* DBS disclosure and Rehabilitation of Offenders Act compliance per policy.
