Overview
Are you a dynamic and driven Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) professional passionate about driving continual improvement and helping to develop a strong SHE culture across our UK-wide sites? This is your chance to join MBDA as a SHE Officer, a challenging but rewarding role that will see you actively crafting, developing, and delivering impactful SHE training to our workforce across all our UK sites. You will be the driving force behind our SHE training program, ensuring our employees have the knowledge and skills to work safely and effectively. You will also be a key player in coordinating SHE campaigns and themes of the month, helping to shape our company\'s SHE culture. You\'ll collaborate with site SHE Advisors, and work closely with a number of departments across the business, including engineering, manufacturing and facility maintenance. This is an opportunity to gain experience in a challenging and crucial sector, making a real impact on the safety of our UK-wide operations.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop and deliver SHE training programs for the workforce across MBDA UK sites.
* Coordinate SHE campaigns and monthly themes to promote a strong SHE culture.
* Collaborate with site SHE Advisors and cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing and facilities.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of safety, health and environmental practices across sites.
Qualifications
* Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (level 6 preferred).
* Ideally a certificate in Environmental management.
* Excellent communication skills to influence and engage employees at all levels, translating complex information into easily understandable formats.
* A broad understanding of manufacturing and laboratory technologies, along with knowledge of SHE legislation.
* Significant experience and expertise in Safety, Health and Environment.
* Ability to influence and engage employees at all levels in the organisation.
Benefits and Rewards
* Salary: Circa £35,000 dependent on experience + bonus + benefits.
* Company bonus: Up to £2,500 (based on company performance).
* Pension: up to 14% total employer/employee contributions; you can increase both employee and employer contributions by up to 2%.

Security and Eligibility
Security Clearance: All MBDA employees are required to hold UK Security or BPSS Clearance. British citizenship or dual UK nationality with British citizenship is required where applicable.
