Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a committed and resilient Primary ALN Teaching Assistant to work within a supportive primary school in Barry. This role is to begin as soon as vetting is complete, supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs and challenging behaviour.

The Role
* Full-time Primary ALN Teaching Assistant position
* Immediate start (subject to vetting clearance)
* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
* Working with children displaying challenging behaviour
* Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging, structured lessons
* Implementing individual behaviour and support plans

* Experience working with primary-aged children or within an ALN setting
* Confident managing challenging behaviour in a calm, consistent manner
* Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
* Patient, resilient, and proactive attitude
* Passionate about supporting children with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
