Position
Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHC) is recruiting Level 6 Bank Prison Nurses for flexible working opportunities at HM Prison Birmingham via Temporary Staffing.
About the Role
The Trust provides primary care & inpatient services in HMP Birmingham, a male prison that can house up to 1450 prisoners. The prison is a 24‑hour service and offers varied nursing experiences and training opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills
* Competent in dispensing medication, wound dressings including compression bandaging, phlebotomy, immunisations & vacs trained.
* Varied nursing experience in a challenging but fulfilling area.
* Qualified with relevant experience. Nurse‑led care, encouraging decision making.
* Experience working with a team of GPs and Allied Health Professionals.
We do not accept applications from unqualified or Student Nurses for this position.
