Salary: From £47,271depending on skills and experience
What you'll bedoing:
* Leading Supply Chain/Procurementactivities within your area of responsibility, fostering a cultureof added value while driving excellence across People, Process,Technology, and Governance to ensure the Supply Chain functionremains fit for the future
* Procurement &contract managementactivites for major subcontract, including all commercial and costmatters
* Collaborating extensively withCustomer and Engineering stakeholders, you will influence supplierselection, formulate procurement strategies, negotiate contractualTerms & Conditions, and administer contractperformance
* Providing expert advice on sourcingfeasibility, risk mitigation, cost efficiency, andmanufacturability, while championing emerging technologies andspecialist capability development
* Communication of your areas SC activities when informingcross-functional and external stakeholders of performance, threats& failures
* Managing supplier relationships,promoting our strategic and collaborative behaviours
Your skills andexperiences:
* SupplyChain, Procurement or Commercial experience within majorsubcontracts with a CIPs qualification or workingtowards
* Proven experience in maintainingstrategic supplier relationships and engaging partners early in thelifecycle/development phase to drive collaboration and long-termvalue
* Detailed understanding and experience ofsupplier risk and opportunity coordination
* Negotiation and influencing skills with experience ofprice and contractual terms and conditions negotiations
* Ability to compile data, interpret and proposerecommendations through reports and presentations

The PlatformManagementControl& Instrumentation team:
Stepinto a role where your expertise in procurementdirectly supports a team at the heart of the Dreadnought programme.You'll be working alongside a talented group responsible for thedelivery of highly complex software and hardwarecontrol systems tosupport platform management of the vessel. Thisis a team that thriveson complexity, collaboration, and innovation. Theywork closely with project managers and engineering specialists tobring highly technical solutions to life, adapting quickly to theevolving needs of the programme. We offer relocation supportpackages across all Submarines roles, subject to meetingeligibility criteria.
