Responsibilities:
* Implement cutting-edge data engineering concepts and databases, including generative AI and vector databases.
* Develop data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and enriching data from diverse sources.
* Construct data models to facilitate business decision-making and analytics.
* Collaborate across teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions through the complete software development lifecycle.
* Write efficient and sustainable code to maintain data pipelines and models.
* Contribute to building scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
* Participate in design and code reviews to ensure adherence to development standards.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or related field.
* Proficient in programming languages essential to data engineering, like Python.
* Extensive knowledge of data modeling, including SQL, NoSQL, Graph, and Vector databases.
* Interest in adopting new data engineering trends, such as generative AI and vector databases.
* Hands-on experience with data platforms, integration tools, data warehouses, and analytics in a Cloud environment, preferably Google Cloud.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
* Openness to learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
* Experience with CI/CD tools and agile methodologies preferred.
