Overview
We are looking for a highly creative and proactive Social Media Content Creator to join our team. This is a hands-on role for someone who can combine strategic planning with creative execution, ensuring our social channels reflect the Rockett St George brand while driving growth and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
* Develop and lead the social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
* Create and manage a comprehensive content calendar, balancing brand, campaign, founder and trend-led content.
* Brainstorm creative campaign ideas and align with wider marketing strategies.
* Maintain brand voice and ensure consistency across all platforms.
Content Creation & Publishing
* Execute the social media calendar to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and community growth.
* Create and film dynamic content (video, photography, Reels, TikToks, Stories, Lives).
* Write clear, engaging captions, scripts, and social copy optimised for each platform.
* Publish and schedule posts across our Brand Instagram Account, 2 x Founder Instagram Accounts, TikTok, and Facebook.
* Adapt content for each channel to maximise engagement and impact.
Community & Engagement
* Manage day-to-day activity on Instagram and TikTok, ensuring a consistent brand voice.
* Engage with followers, responding to comments and messages where required.
* Scale TikTok growth with innovative, trend-led content.
Collaboration & Coordination
* Brief and collaborate with graphic designers, photography and the copy team to produce best-in-class content.
* Align with wider marketing campaigns, ensuring social activity reflects brand priorities.
* Maintain brand consistency across all social touchpoints.
Reporting & Analysis
* Use social analytics and listening tools to monitor performance and identify emerging trends.
* Apply insights to optimise content and campaigns.
* Deliver weekly reports on social performance and campaign impact.
* Adopt a test-and-learn mindset to continuously refine efforts.
Requirements, Experience & Skills
* 2 years hands-on experience managing and creating content for TikTok and Instagram.
* Deep knowledge of TikTok culture, trends, algorithms, and best practices.
* Proven track record of growing and engaging social audiences organically.
* Excellent video production and editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar).
* Strong content writing skills, with experience crafting captions, scripts, and copy.
* Experience collaborating with creative teams to deliver high-quality assets.
* Strong organisational skills with clear communication around deadlines.
* Comfortable appearing on camera for social media content and providing voiceovers
