Dental Nurse – Exciting Opportunity with a Growing Private Practice Location: Milton Keynes Area Permanent | 42 hours per week | Ideally full-time, part-time considered We are delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Dental Nurse to join our expanding and well-established private dental practice. As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for a team player who can hit the ground running, contribute positively to the team, and help us provide outstanding dental care across a range of treatments, including general dentistry, implants, sedation, and endodontics. The Role – What You’ll Be Doing As a Dental Nurse in our team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that every patient receives excellent care from the moment they step through our doors. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: ✨ Assisting the dentist and clinicians during a variety of treatments, including general dentistry, implant placements, sedation cases, and endodontic procedures ✨ Maintaining high standards of infection control at all times, ensuring all protocols are followed meticulously ✨ Preparing treatment rooms and equipment ahead of procedures, ensuring everything is ready and safe for use ✨ Sterilising instruments and managing decontamination processes in line with CQC and practice standards ✨ Supporting and reassuring patients before, during, and after treatment — creating a calm, professional, and positive environment ✨ Accurately updating and maintaining patient records using SOE software ✨ Managing stock levels and ensuring materials are available as needed ✨ Assisting on reception when required, supporting the smooth running of the front desk ✅ Who We’re Looking For We are seeking someone who is genuinely passionate about dental care, reliable, and ready to contribute as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be: ✔ GDC registered (preferred) — although we are happy to consider a trainee dental nurse with at least 6 months of hands-on experience ✔ Confident and experienced in working within a dental practice setting, including reception duties ✔ Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English ✔ Enthusiastic about learning and developing new skills ✔ Organised, proactive, and ready to take initiative — someone who enjoys getting stuck in and supporting the wider team Additional qualifications and experience that would be a bonus: Radiography certificate Experience or certification in implants and orthodontics What We Offer When you join our team, you’ll be part of a friendly and professional environment where your contributions are valued.
