Client: Virginia Department ofTransportation (VDOT)
Location:Richmond Virginia (Hybrid Onsite Role)
Terms: First round of interviews via Teams.Second round of interviews ONSITE & requires onsite 2 days aweek with 3 remote.
Position specific responsibilities and dutieswill include but not limited to:
* Meeting with and communicating directly with Agencyleadership up to the Executive level on a routine basis.
* Working closely with IT leadership to ensure successfuland continuous delivery of all products and services byITD.
* Assigned to partner with Districts to actas a point of focus / resource for IT management escalations andcoordination.
* Partner with business andEnterprise Architecture to identify product lines then develop andmaintain a multiyear business capability roadmap.
* Responsible for building and maintaining relationshipswith assigned business partners.
* Interfacingwith project managers service and operations managers to coordinatework prioritize requests and manage escalations for assignedDivisions.
* Identifying opportunities for newservices service improvements and technical innovation to meetbusiness needs.
* Overseeing the management ofbusiness partner expectations as related to ITD engagement andservice or product delivery.
* Managingescalations related to technology procurements projects and servicedelivery requests.
* Identifying championing andcommunicating customer needs.
* Consult andcollaborate with ITD teams managing production operations and thestrategic direction for systems owned by assigned businesspartners.
* Support continued compliance withVDOT and VITA policies standards and guidelines.
Skills:
* Bachelors degree or six (6) years or more of relatedexperience. (6yrs)
* Experience working inInformation Technology (including knowledge of SDLC AgileMethodology Technology Procurements. (5yrs)
* Strong communication skills in writing speaking andpresenting with leadership of all levels. (10yrs)
* Ability to listen build rapport and develop credibilityas a strategic partner. Be able to shift opinions using influenceover positional power. (10yrs)
* Skilled andexperienced at conflict negotiation and resolution; Experiencedealing with difficult customers. (10yrs)
