We are currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a well-established general haulage and palletised distribution client based in Tamworth (B77). This role offers ongoing, consistent work, competitive pay rates, and clean Class 1 driving.
As a Class 1 Driver, your responsibilities will include:
* Driving Class 1 (LGV C+E) articulated vehicles
* Transporting palletised goods nationwide or regionally
* Carrying out 14 drops or collections per shift
* Ensuring loads are secured and transported safely
* Completing PODs, paperwork, and delivery notes
* Conducting daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
Hours & Pay:
* Monday to Friday ongoing work
* Day and Night shifts available
* Shift length: 812 hours
* £15.50 £17.00 per hour (PAYE) depending on shift & experience
* Weekly pay every Friday
Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
* Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
* Minimum 1 year Class 1 experience preferred
* No more than 6 points on licence (no DR, DD, IN)
* Professional, reliable, and safety-focused attitude
* Safety boots & hi-vis
