Audit Senior responsibilities include: Begin to take ownership of your own portfolio of smaller assignments with support from your manager Supporting the Senior or Assistant Manager on larger and more complex assignments Supporting in delivering revenue and profitability targets Begin to develop enduring client relationships Participating in local networking and business development events Day to day duties Heavily involved in the completion of audit fieldwork/planned substantive and analytical audit procedures, including on site at client premises where necessary Planning and completion of audit assignments, whilst ensuring audit files have appropriate and?sufficient?documentation Preparing statutory financial statements from client data and highlight high level risk areas or matters of concern to the Partner/Manager whilst using a significant degree of your own judgement As an Audit Senior, you will be/have: Working knowledge of IFRS/UKGAAP and Auditing Standards ACA/ACCA/AAT part qualified A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an audit environment for a UK practice Experience of auditing clients within a variety of industries Experience coaching and mentoring junior members In return, as an Audit Senior, you will receive: Hybrid working (2 days WFH) 25 days annual bank holiday Full study support If you are seeking Audit Senior jobs in Suffolk, contact Austin Rose, the Public Practice Recruitment Specialists.
