We’re looking for an experienced EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming two-form entry primary school in the west of Newcastle. The school has a strong community ethos, well-resourced classrooms, and a supportive leadership team. Ofsted recently praised its Early Years provision for providing children with a confident start to their learning journey.
The Role
* Plan and deliver an engaging EYFS curriculum rooted in play-based learning
* Create a structured, safe, and stimulating environment where children can thrive
* Support pupils with SEND and EAL, working closely with the SENCO and teaching assistants
* Use outdoor learning and creative approaches to bring early maths, phonics, and literacy to life
* Build positive relationships with parents and carers to strengthen home–school links
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Early Years qualification
* A confident classroom practitioner with good knowledge of early phonics (Read Write Inc. experience desirable)
* Someone with strong behaviour management and a nurturing, inclusive approach
* A team player who values collaboration and consistency
