Job Description
A leading energy and sustainability consultancy is seeking an experienced or senior sustainability consultant to join a team of over 30 specialists. The team focuses on working with construction contractors and businesses to measure, manage, and achieve net zero targets, reduce energy consumption, and manage carbon emissions.
The senior/lead sustainability consultant will be responsible for:
1. Reviewing energy performance data
2. Auditing buildings, energy, carbon use, and waste to identify solutions
3. Creating decarbonisation roadmaps
4. Reviewing building installation and upgrade projects to advise on sustainability and make recommendations
5. Offering training and mentoring junior team members
Qualifications and experience required:
* At least 5 years of experience in sustainability, energy strategy, and carbon capture, preferably within the public sector on commercial projects
* Chartered status or membership of CIBSE, IEMA, IEE, or related qualifications such as EPC, ESOS, or DEC
This is a hybrid position, with the ability to work from anywhere near a main city in the UK. The package includes a basic salary of approximately £60k - £65k, a car allowance, a 5% pension contribution, and health insurance.
