Overview
Role: Sous Chef at Buckland Manor, a 3 AA rosette restaurant within a traditional country house hotel in the Cotswolds. You will work alongside the Head Chef to run a busy kitchen and create exciting and delicious dishes for guests.
Responsibilities
* Preparation of fresh food
* Leadership of a section
* Using advanced knife skills
* Maintaining advanced knowledge of allergens
* Partaking in the cleaning rota
* Labelling of food on your section
* Completing daily kitchen audits
* Writing allergen matrix
* Ordering stock on Procure Wizard
* Management of kitchen team
* Running of service
* Kitchen staff rotas
Requirements / Qualifications
* This role would suit someone who has worked in a similar environment previously.
* You will be a hands-on chef who leads from the front, knowledgeable about different cooking styles, good at developing others and happy to be part of the kitchen management team.
Salary and Location
Salary: £38,000 to £40,000 per annum, plus service charge
Service charge can be in the region of £305 a month (around £3,600 per year) for a full time employee.
