Job Description
Come work with the Allachburn Team in our prominent home in the heart of Royal Deeside. We are looking for a caring and empathetic person who is diligent, enthusiastic, and hardworking. The right candidate will receive full training and support and will become part of the established team.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the service and the organization.
Available vacancies:
* 3 x 28-hour posts
* 2 x 21-hour posts
These vacancies will require flexible working, including evenings and weekends.
Shift times are 07:30 to 15:00 or 14:30 to 22:00, on a rolling rota that includes some weekend work.
Rates and Allowances
The hourly rate is £14.21.
Allowance Payment
Weekend Working If an employee works between midnight Friday and midnight Sunday, they are entitled to an enhanced rate of pay of time and one third for all hours worked during this period.
Overtime Over 37 hours per week, paid at time and a half for all hours worked.
Please note, these positions do not meet the salary threshold for sponsorship.
Interviews will take place at a location to be confirmed in Aboyne on 06 August 2025. Interview time slots will be available on 5 August.
This is a fixed-term position not exceeding 12 months.

Requirements
This post involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check. If you have spent three or more months outside the UK in the last five years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. The offer of employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.
You must obtain SSSC registration within three months of starting employment.
Minimum of two references required, including one from your current or most recent employer.
