As a Systems Reliability Engineer you will play a strategic role in shaping asset reliability and performance, embedding best‑in‑class reliability engineering practices, streamlining asset management processes and influencing system‑wide improvements aligned with the EA 2030 Strategy. You will lead change, deliver lasting impact and ensure our assets are fit for the future.
Responsibilities
* Act as technical leader on MEICA systems activity and report to the MEICA Team Leader
* Provide technical system support and liaise with Business Partners
* Lead actions on behalf of the Team Leader and participate in the incident response roster
* Maintain MEICA assets to meet statutory, safety, and performance standards
* Manage asset reliability and performance data using an Engineering Management System
* Deliver statutory and operational maintenance, analyse data and drive improvements
Qualifications & Experience
* Engineering degree, preferably with an MEICA background
* Proven experience in asset management and reliability engineering within a complex operational environment
* Strong finance and budget management capabilities
* Programme and maintenance management skills
* Technical leadership and excellent planning abilities
* Ability to engage and collaborate with MEICA engineers
* Comfort with modern reliability and technological innovations in engineering
* Excellent IT skills, managing and interpreting data to inform decisions
* Knowledge of maintaining mechanical and electrical systems
* Working knowledge of a computerised maintenance management system (CMMS)
Additional Information
* The position offers a hybrid working arrangement with approximately two days of travel to sites and area offices
* Annual payments: £4,750 for Incorporated Engineers and £9,750 for Chartered Engineers (Member of ImechE/IET)
* Full UK driving licence is essential
