Our Shift Leader rate of pay starts from £14.76 an hour; this increases to £15.97 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It’s our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you'd like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), we have opportunities for this too and would love to hear from you.
The schedule includes specific availability windows during the week, and your shifts will be scheduled within these times with 3 weeks' notice. Customers are at the heart of everything we do.
As a Shift Leader, you'll support store operations, oversee team activities, and ensure excellent customer service. Your role involves managing duty shifts, supporting colleagues, maintaining store standards, and leading by example.
* Work in a fast-paced retail environment with variety
* Take ownership of duty shifts, ensuring the store is clean, stocked, and exceeds customer expectations
* Assist customers and ensure they leave satisfied
* Coach colleagues and provide feedback for service improvement
* Support store safety and support the team in daily operations
* Monitor store performance and assist in implementing improvements

Pay and Hours
Starting from £14.76/hour, increasing to £15.97 inside the M25. Minimum guaranteed hours are 16 per week, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12). Flexibility in scheduling is supported.

* Coordinate store team to deliver a smooth shopping experience
* Support colleagues in daily priorities and safety
* Open and close the store, manage duty cover
* Act as the point of contact in the absence of a manager
* Ensure the store is clean, tidy, and well-presented
* Support community and charity events
* Promote a positive, inclusive team environment
* Deliver excellent customer service and communicate effectively
* Maintain knowledge of store performance and operational improvements
