Project Manager - Integrated Delivery Services
Working hours: Full time, 37 hours per week. Flexible working arrangements including part time may be considered.
Employment type: Permanent.
Salary: Up to £64,688 per annum, depending on experience.
Location: Hybrid working with an office in Hanningfield, Chelmsford.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Integrated Delivery Services team, working on short‑cycle projects across our water assets. You will ensure projects meet regulatory timelines, deliver business benefits and provide customer value. You will lead projects ranging from £500K to £20M, ensuring on‑time delivery within budget and agreed quality expectations. You will use strong communication and influencing skills to engage stakeholders and collaborate with internal teams and suppliers. Innovation is at the core of our work; you will drive efficiencies and continuous improvement by leveraging industry best practices. You will manage project governance, benefits tracking, proactive risk management and change controls in line with investment procedures.
About You
Experienced proactive Project Manager who can oversee projects from inception to completion and handover. You should be organised, able to lead multidisciplinary teams and build credibility with stakeholders at all levels. Experience in Engineering, Construction, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Rail & transport or environmental or critical infrastructure environments is required. Awareness of health and safety is essential; you will ensure safety, quality and environmental outcomes through compliance with company standards, legislation and Construction Design Management regulations. Proven expertise in contract management, procurement and application of appropriate engineering contracts, including CDM regulations, is required. A commitment to achieving or holding an industry‑recognised qualification such as APM or PRINCE2 is desired. A DBS check will be required prior to employment.
