Responsibilities
* Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements.
* Manage reservations and ensure efficient table turnover.
* Provide menus and explain daily specials to customers.
* Take customer orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff.
* Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and waiting areas.
* Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
* Assist in training new staff members as needed.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred but not essential.
* Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
